Charles (Chip) Scott Named President of Enspiria® Solutions, Inc.
Denver, CO October 8, 2007
Enspiria Solutions, a leading provider of consulting and systems integration services to the utility, cable and government sectors, today announced that Charles (Chip) Scott has been promoted to the position of President. Mr. Scott replaces Ivo Steklac, who has left Enspiria to accept a leadership position as a Group Vice President at Elster Electricity, a large international metering and AMI provider.
Mr. Scott has over 20 years of utility industry information technology (IT) experience, and was a founder of Enspiria Solutions. He has served as Enspiria's Executive Vice President of Operations since its founding and will continue to oversee company operations.
Prior to the founding of Enspiria Solutions, Mr. Scott held various leadership positions with Convergent Group and SchlumbergerSema, including: chief operating officer, vice president of systems integration, general manager for engineering & development, and project manager/project engineer.
Mr. Scott's background includes former positions with Graphic Data Systems, Salt River Project (senior systems analyst), Texas Utilities Company (programmer analyst), PlanGraphics, and ABB Impell.
He holds a bachelor of science in computer science from Old Dominion University and a master in business administration from Arizona State University.
